Our Story

Family

Family has always been the foundation of who we are. This home holds so many treasured memories, from Sunday dinners full of laughter and stories to afternoons working on cars side by side. It was here that “Pa,” (the now owner’s father) raised his family with support, strength, and deep love. Though he now lives in a nursing home due to frontotemporal dementia, the care and kindness he showed us still guide everything we do.

Sharing our home with others is our way of passing on the warmth and love that has shaped our family. It’s about creating a place where every guest can feel truly cared for and welcomed, just as we have been throughout our lives. As Brad Henry said, “Families are like branches on a tree. We grow in different directions, yet our roots remain as one.” We hope that a sense of rooted connection is felt by everyone who walks through our door.

Overview

Pa's Place was built in the early 1900s and sits on land that was once occupied by the Cokes Chapel. Over the years, this house has been home to Pa and his family. Countless memories have been made here by our family and we hope you join us and make your own.
